Do you wish that recorded music sounded more like being at a live performance? This desire has motivated me to develop an understanding of several kinds of audio distortion that are present in all of the audio CDs in my music collection.
I remove distortion from recorded music by adding equal, but opposite, distortion to the audio signal. I am able to identify what is wrong with the sound quality of recorded music, and I am able to correct these errors.
I reverse the effects of dynamic range compression with a collection of specialized dynamic range expanders. I also use specialized tools to solidify the stereo imaging of recorded music.
I hope that in the near future the public will be able to listen to my audio engineering work.
